Enable Modules
Modules are installed per game. A game can use Live Config without Icon Automation, or Jobs without Icon Automation, depending on the team’s needs.
Available modules
| Module | Best for | Permission behavior |
|---|---|---|
| Live Config | Publishing runtime configuration | No Roblox scope required |
| Jobs | Scheduling config changes and webhooks | No Roblox scope required for current job types |
| Icon Automation | Event countdown icons and localized names | Requires Roblox manage permission |
Enable flow
- Open a game from the sidebar.
- Review the module cards.
- Click Enable on the module.
- If RoControl asks for permission, review the reason and authorize only if it matches your intent.
- Open the module settings page.
Recommended order
For a new liveops setup, enable modules in this order:
- Live Config
- Jobs
- Icon Automation
This keeps the runtime config stable before automation begins changing values or assets.
